President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhammedov received Itera International Group of Companies President Igor Makarov. Thanking for an opportunity of a personal meeting the guest said about the holding company’s keen interest in overall expansion of co-operation with Turkmenistan that occupied the top positions in the rating of the most dynamically developing countries in recent years.
During the conversation the interlocutors discussed the outcomes of long-term mutually advantageous collaboration and came to agreement about short-term objectives.
Confirming the mutual interest in furthering fruitful co-operation the interlocutors confirmed the readiness to maintain co-operation in gas industry, particularly restoration of deposits, well boring and gas pipeline construction. An opportunity of the company’s collaboration in the projects on the development of the rich deposits in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea was discussed as well.
The Itera President noted that the company’s huge potential and expertise would be of great use for implementing large-scale projects in other sectors of national economy. To prove the statement the interlocutors reached an agreement on the construction of a carbamide plant in Turkmenbashi. The Itera intended to invest over 600 million US dollars in the construction project.
In conclusion, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhammedov and his guest expressed belief that long-term partnership would be built on confidence, mutual benefit and strict observance of the mutual commitments.
