The President received the Heads of French companies

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov received the Heads of Sifal and Tales French companies.

Thanking the Turkmen leader for an opportunity of a personal meeting and emphasizing the great interest the French business circles had expressed in establishing close profitable relations with Turkmenistan the Head of the Sifal Company introduced his colleague, the head of the Tales Company to Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov.  

Greeting the Turkmen leader the head of the Tales Company described the main activity of his organization had been working in Turkmenistan since 1992. The guest said that annual turnover of the company engaged in various sectors of economy made up 17 billion US dollars and the staff included 75,000 workers.

In Turkmenistan the company collaborates with civil aviation providing flights safety. During the years of collaboration the company supplied the airports of Ashgabat and the other large cities of the country with modern navigation equipment. Having heard much about large-scale reforms carried out in Turkmenistan, establishment of the first national tourist zone in particular, the guest brought forward a proposal to modernize the airport of Turkmenbashi. He also suggested sharing the company’s experience in maintaining gas pipelines system reliability.  

The president of the Sifal Company expressed the readiness for the large-scale co-operation in the sphere of oil and gas fields development including treatment of produced raw materials.

President of Turkmenistan thanked the heads of two large French companies for their aspiration for strengthening and expanding co-operation with Turkmenistan and suggested them to pay a special attention to training highly skilled specialists and after sales service of purchased equipment. Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov also stated that all proposals of foreign specialists would be thoroughly considered. In this concern the President of Turkmenistan instructed the relevant officials to conduct the negotiations with French partners.
