15th Anniversary of State Border Service

On August 11, on the eve of the Turkmen Melon Day and 15th anniversary of the State Border Service of Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov chaired the sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers.

During the solemn ceremony of the sitting Chairman of the State Border Service of Turkmenistan Alov B. congratulated President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander in Chief of the National Armed Forces Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov on the remarkable date in the history of independent Turkmenistan and expressed deep gratitude for his concern and support of fighting strength and defence capacity of border services and training the professional military servants. Henceforth the Military Academy of Turkmenistan will train young officers for border services. Congratulated the Turkmen leader on behalf of the command and personnel of the Sate Border Service the Chairman state that the Turkmen frontier guards would spare neither strength nor knowledge and if necessary life to provide security of national borders and peaceful life of the Turkmen people.

Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov thanked for good wishes and congratulated the command and personnel of Sate Border Service of Turkmenistan on the anniversary and noted that creation of Border Service of independent Turkmenistan is one of the first political achievements of the country. The Turkmen leader wished them good health, prosperity and success in their noble work and said with certainty that the Turkmen frontier guards would serve the motherland and the Turkmen people faithfully, do their patriotic duties and protect the peace of the native land and happy life of their compatriots. The Turkmen leader said we took proud in that the state border of Neutral Independent Turkmenistan was called the border of peace and friendship and that was the merit of our frontier guards, worthy successors of ancestors’ good traditions.
