New air bridge Ashgabat-Minsk

On August 11, new scheduled direct flight between Turkmenistan and Republic of Belarus was opened. Boeing-737-800 plane of Turkmenhowayollary airlines performed new flight to Minsk. The comfortable airliner holding 160 passengers will fly between two capitals once in a week on Saturdays. Time in flight is about five hours.

During the meeting with the members of the governmental delegation of the Republic of Belarus headed by Vice-Premier A. Kosinec the President of Turkmenistan suggested the proposal to open new air bridge that would strengthen traditionally friendly relations between two countries.

Ashgabat-Minsk flight is the 12th international passenger route of the national airlines. Boeings with the symbol of Turkmen lachin on board of the plane will convey passengers to 10 world countries. Five foreign airlines make flights to Turkmenistan.
